Increased floods and fires are because of the fossil fuel industry and animal agriculture, both of which are subsidised by the government, not taxed properly, and destroy our future.

We suffer greatly from these ever more frequent disasters and we do not have the resources to rebuild after every disaster caused by lack of climate action.

The Government has a responsibility to implement and fund community-led disaster recovery and preparedness in every vulnerable and affected region.
